Yall come see Beverly at The Rose. The cowboy pie was amazing for lunch, and the banana pudding reminded me of my great-grandmothers. It was worth every penny. So glad I found this little treasure of a BBQ joint. 10/10 recommend. I will be back very soon.
Amazing BBQ worth pulling over if passing through Odessa. I had the two meat platter - brisket & pork. Brisket's fat was trimmed so nothing but delicious meat. It looks like a hole in the wall because it is, with plenty of charm inside and out.
Loved the place and it is more charming inside than outside and I like a weathered BBQ joint. We had the brisket and jalapeño/cheese sausage and both were spot on! The German potato salad was the best I have ever eaten. It's a little off the beaten path but aren't most good things. Not pictured was the banana pudding and we both enjoyed it the crunchy vanilla wafers and a homey feel of it.
