2 weeks agoYall come see Beverly at The Rose. The cowboy pie was amazing for lunch, and the banana pudding reminded me of my great-grandmothers. It was worth every penny. So glad I found this little treasure of a BBQ joint. 10/10 recommend. I will be back very soon.

a month agoAmazing BBQ worth pulling over if passing through Odessa. I had the two meat platter - brisket & pork. Brisket's fat was trimmed so nothing but delicious meat. It looks like a hole in the wall because it is, with plenty of charm inside and out.

5 months agoLoved the place and it is more charming inside than outside and I like a weathered BBQ joint. We had the brisket and jalapeño/cheese sausage and both were spot on! The German potato salad was the best I have ever eaten. It's a little off the beaten path but aren't most good things. Not pictured was the banana pudding and we both enjoyed it the crunchy vanilla wafers and a homey feel of it.

5 months agoA local place they are fabulous for brisket and several other cater able items we get it for our Christmas dinner for work. It’s big back recommended.

Edited 3 years agoI love the Cowboy Pie! I hardly ever crave anything BBQ or with BBQ sauce but I will definitely drive over for this one. A full order is too big so depending if Im hungry or not I may get either the 1/2 or 1/4 order. You can't see the Fritos layered underneath this deliciousness. My huge pile of Fritos is under my huge pile of beans and brisket. My picture serves this no justice. 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

3 years agoSo good! The cowboy pie is wonderful. And the sliced beef is melting in my mouth, without fat. How did Rose cook the beef? 😘

4 years agoWonderful BBQ joint just out of the way!! Read reviews and decided to give it a whirl. What a quaint, local restaurant with a warm atmosphere. The cowboy pie was AMAZING! And the German potato salad was equally delicious. Give them a taste and you won’t be disappointed.

4 years ago12/30/2021: I ordered the half order of Cowboy Pie and wow it was absolutely amazing and so fresh. It was a generous portion of food that tasted phenomenal. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I had the banana pudding for dessert and it was absolutely delicious. This is a must try BBQ restaurant in Odessa.
